designing the future
After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Product Design I went straight into the bespoke furniture and interior design industry where I worked for a number of years. During that time, I was privileged to have worked for companies such as Smallbone of Devizes, Podesta UK and ADI.
During my time working as a designer in interiors and bespoke furniture I worked on projects such as kitchen and bathroom design, bespoke dressing rooms, libraries and home office interiors as well as home cinema projects, and complete interior layout changes.
While working as a freelance designer I worked on a number of small exhibition stand designs, and I caught the bug for the fast-moving 3D work involved.
I have been working as a freelance exhibition designer alongside my other projects for over 10 years and have designed and managed projects from concept to completion. I have worked on exhibition projects from the smallest shell scheme dressings, through to double-deck stands and complex structures (over 4m high, requiring structural calculations) in excess of £250k.
My freelance exhibition design work can include as much or as little input as you like. I have worked purely on concept creation, full design & development, and I have also worked with customers to provide a 3D modelling and visualisation service to develop their own designs and support their in-house design teams.
I moved to to the stunning West Wales coast in 2017, and now work primarily from home, although I regularly attend site at the main exhibition venues. My customer base is global, with the majority of my work being UK-based, so I am well placed to help with all your design needs.
